The american idol finale was a great show with lots of stars and outstanding performances highlighted by fergie and the black eye peas.
But ! the real show stopper of the night was Kris's upset win over adam lambert who everybody thought including this writer would win in a run away.
With almost 100 million votes cast I would really like to see what the seperation was in the amount of votes that decided the winner.
There have been some rumblings on talk radio in the past couple days that adam lamberts looks and perception that he was gay would come back to hurt him in the final vote.
I always thought that he was way to glam rock to ever make it big after american idol but in no way did i think he would lose either. You could also see the surprise on Kris's face when announced he never really thought he would win and had nothing prepared to say if he did .. because he was sure he wouldnt win he even said after , that adam deserved to win .
