No Yankees.. Winter surely can't be far

Well it has been almost a week since the new york Yankees won there 27th world series championship and I am already going into withdrawals.
Baseball unlike any other sport is there for you every day for some 9 months a year when you throw in spring training.
I am from upstate new york and except for my other most favorite of sports team the Syracuse Orange basketball team, the rest of my teams are going pretty bad..ie the Buffalo Bills stink.. the New york Knicks are unwatchable most times ... until Lebron James gets here that is .:) and Syracuse football is absolutely terrible also
So I will have to go into my winter slumber here in the North east with only the Syracuse orange to keep me going until the first sign of spring... no, not ground hogs day or even the site of the first robin .. it is some 90 days away and it is the day that pitchers and catchers report.
